Team's top runner....co-captain and three-year letterwinner...led team in four of six meets in which she competed in 1998...won Towson Invitational, placed fourth at Delaware Invitational, 12th at Wake Forest Invitational, and 54th at Iona before injuries sidelined her for the rest of the year...placed 35th at America East championships as a sophomore in 1997...America East track standout...owns six career AE top 10 finishes in track, including third place finish at 1999 outdoor 1,500 meters and a fourth at 1999 AE indoor 5,000m...All-State at Newark HS...honor student as nutrition major at Delaware.

Katie MacKelcan - Junior - Wilmington, DE
Co-captain and two-year letterwinner...top finish in 1998 was 29th place finish at Wake Forest Invitational...was 52nd at America East meet...exercise and sports science major...standout at Brandywine HS.

One of two seniors on squad...placed 50th at America East cross country championships in 1998 after placing 20th in 1997...also in 1998, placed 20th at Delaware Invitational and 61st at ECAC meet...honor student as a biology major...former Arthur Ashe Sports-Scholar Award nominee...standout at Ursuline Academy.

Enjoyed outstanding freshman season...team's No. 3 finisher with 28th place finish at America East championships...placed fourth at Towson, 10th at Delaware Invitational #1, 17th at Delaware Invitational #2, 21st at Wake Forest, and 84th at NCAA District meet...in track, was fifth in 1999 America East indoor 800m and eighth in AE outdoor 5,000m...honor student at Delaware...standout at RHAM High School.

Jae Mentzer - Junior - Hershey, PA
Lettered as a sophomore in 1998...placed 43rd at America East championships...top finish was 13th at Towson Invitational...11th at America East outdoor 3,000m and 13th at AE indoor 5,000m in 1999... competed in track and cross country at Lower Dauphin HS.

Jennifer Crocco - Sophomore - Hatfield, PA
