At Delaware: Cross Country - 2007 Season: Competed in four events for the Blue Hens • finished 40th at the Towson Invitational and 66th at the Delaware Invitational #1 • placed 164th at the Paul Short Invitational and 61st in the Delaware Invitational #2 • named to CAA Academic Honor Roll.

Indoor Track - 2007-08 Season: Ran the 3000 meters in 12:09.70 at the Delaware Invitational #1 and the 5000 meters in 20:49.97 at the John Covert Classic.

Outdoor Track - 2008 Season: Ran the 3000 meter steeplechase in 14:11.59 at the Rider Invitational.

High School: Competed in cross country and track and field at Brewster High School • served as team captain for all three teams • cross country team went undefeated • earned team Most Valuable Player Award in track • set school records in 3000 meters, 3200 meters, 4x800 meter relay, distance medley relay, and 1600 meters • all-league and all-county in cross country • Hall of Fame inductee • member of National Honor Society • president of Mu Alpha Theta Math Honor Society • member of school's marching band.

Personal: Tracy L. Powell • daughter of John and Lee Powell • honor student as a chemical engineering major with a minor in biochemical engineering and chemistry at Delaware • older sister, Terry, competes in track and field in college • enjoys cooking and skiing in spare time • has traveled to 49 of the 50 states (all except Alaska) • member of the Society of Women Engineers and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars • served an internship at IBM last summer.
