At Delaware: Cross Country - 2007 Season: Competed in all five regular season meets for the Blue Hens • placed as high as 11th at the Monmouth Invitational • had a personal best time of 19:57 at the Towson Invitational • also competed in the UD Invitational #1, Paul Short Invitational, and Delaware Invitational #2 • earned UD Team Sportsmanship Award • named to CAA Academic Honor Roll.

Indoor Track - 2007-08 Season: Ran the 1000 meters in 3:11.96 at the Thomson Invitational, the mile in 5:24.54 at the Princeton Invitational, and the 3000 meters in 10:39.29 at the NYU Fastrack Invitational.

Outdoor Track - 2008 Season: Member of 4x800 meter relay team that won the Rider Invitational in 9:59.22 • member of distance relay team that ran the Colonial Relays in 12:23.87 • ran the 1500 meters in 4:58.07 at the Towson Invitational • ran the 3000 meter steeplechase in 11:26.22 at the Delaware Open, the third fastest time in school history.

High School: Competed in cross country and track and field at Shenendehowa High School for five seasons • earned five letters in cross country and outdoor track and four in indoor track • All-American in the indoor 4 x mile relay • four-time Suburban Council All-Star in cross country • set school indoor record in mile • captain of cross country team as a senior • led indoor team to fourth place finish at nationals and was a four-time sectional champion in the mile • team won sectional titles indoors in 2005 and outdoors in 2006. • member of National Honor Society • member of school senate.

Personal: Christine Mary Sloat • daughter of Woody and Debra Sloat • older sister, Carolynn, was a four-year standout as a pitcher in softball at Delaware in 2003-07 • Carolynn was an All-Region selection, a CoSIDA Academic All-American nominee, and set numerous school pitching records • nutritional sciences major with a minor in Spanish at Delaware • would like to become a physical therapist • father is a major in the New York State Police.
