RICHMOND, VA -- University of Delaware sophomore Christina Antonopoulos was selected to the All-Colonial Athletic Association first team Cross Country squad as determined by the conference's head coaches.

During the season, Antonopoulos (York, PA/York Suburban) was the top Delaware finisher in six of the team's eight meets. She was the top Blue Hen runner in the Paul Short, Monmouth, and second Delaware Invitationals as well as the CAA, NCAA District 2, and ECAC meets.

She placed second in both the Monmouth and Delaware Invitationals, marking her best finishes of the season.

During the ECAC meet, she also came in 23rd out of 99 participants, while she finished 38th out of 194 runners in the NCAA District 2 competition.

At the CAA Championships earlier in the season, Antonopoulos finished 8th overall and helped lead the Blue Hens to a fourth place finish during the meet. For her efforts, she was selected as the Wilmington Trust Best of the Blue Hens Athlete of the Week.

Antonopoulos was joined on the All-CAA team by four members of the Georgia State squad, highlighted by Rachel Hannah, who was named the conference's Athlete of the Year, Rebecca Hallam, who earned Rookie of the Year honors, and Jessica Raby, who was named the top coach in the conference.

Georgia State's Caitlin Price was also selected to the All-Conference squad, as was Emily Gousen, Erin Prillaman, Anna Parker, and Emily Anderson, all from William & Mary. James Madison placed three on the team as well, led by Jessica Propst, Dena Spickard, and Aspen Foster, while VCU's Danielle Williams rounded out the 12-person squad.
