Blue Hen Lacrosse Teams Earn High Marks in Final NCAA Statistical Rankings

Gaeta Named Lacrosse MVP at UD Women's Athletics Awards Banquet
NEWARK, DE (May 23, 2008) -- Junior Ange Gaeta (left), who collected 23 ground balls and 19 caused turnovers to help the UD women's lacrosse team to an 11-6 mark this season, was named the squad's Most Valuable Player at the annual UD Women's Athletics Awards Banquet on Thursday night at the Trabant Student Center. Drost, Hens Close Out Regular Season With 20-10 Rout of Rival Villanova
VILLANOVA, PA (April 25, 2008) -- Freshman midfielder Corinne Drost (left) exploded for a career-high five goals and nine different Blue Hens found the net as the University of Delaware women's lacrosse team ended its regular season on a high note with a 20-10 victory at Villanova on Friday evening at Villanova Stadium.
