At Delaware: Outstanding scorer who will start in the midfield once again for the Blue Hens • excellent feeder 2006: Appeared in and started 16 games last season in the Delaware midfield • ranked fourth on the team with 19 goals and 24 points • was second on the team with 30 groundballs, tied for second with 19 caused turnovers, and fifth with 16 draw controls • scored four goals against UMBC and added three versus Penn, Hofstra, and George Mason • had two goals, including the game-winner in double overtime, and two assists against Brown • recorded two goals at Towson • posted four groundballs and four caused turnovers against George Mason • named Colonial Athletic Association Player of the Week on March 19. 2005: Proved to be a valuable weapon on attack for Blue Hens as a sophomore • started all 16 games and ranked fourth on the team in scoring with 29 points on 24 goals and five assists • ranked third on team with 54 shots and also recorded 17 groundballs, 19 draw controls, and 11 caused turnovers • scored at least one goal in all but two games and had two or more goals in a game seven times during the campaign • tallied a career-high four goals in 21-4 win over Villanova and added three goals each versus Towson and George Mason • posted two goals against Mount St. Mary’s, Penn, James Madison, and Temple • also dished out two assists vs. James Madison and Old Dominion. 2004: Appeared in the first five games of the year but missed the final 11 contests due to injuries • had two goals and three assists for the season • posted a goal and assist against both Mount St. Mary’s and Rutgers • also had an assist vs. Pennsylvania • finished the year with 10 groundballs, two draw controls, and two caused turnovers.

High School: Four-year letterwinner in lacrosse at Seton Keough High School • second team All-Baltimore County in 2002 and 2003 • named a league all-star in her junior and senior seasons • also played basketball and was a two-time all-league selection in field hockey • captain in both lacrosse and field hockey • National Honor Society member • class treasurer.

Personal: Kathryn “Katie” Gallagher Muth • born April 30, 1985 • daughter of James and Susan Muth • father played football at University of Dayton • has an older brother • sport management major with a minor in leadership at Delaware.
