At Delaware: Lefthander who is expected to challenge for a starting position in Delaware’s backfield unit. 2007: Started all 17 games in the Blue Hen defensive unit • recorded only assist of the season in the win over Towson • ranked second on the team with 30 groundballs while adding 10 caused turnovers and nine draw controls • picked up five groundballs versus Saint Bonaventure and Hofstra, and collected four groundballs against Davidson. 2006: Appeared in all 17 games while starting seven as a freshman • tallied three assists on the season while adding 21 groundballs, 13 caused turnovers, and four draw controls • posted assists against Virginia Tech, Penn State and Johns Hopkins • had three groundballs and three caused turnovers versus Penn • also collected three groundballs versus Virginia Tech and Princeton.

High School: Standout in lacrosse and soccer at Great Valley High School • four-year starter on defense in lacrosse • led team to three conference titles • Great Valley won district title in 2002 and advanced to semifinals in 2004 • team won state title in 2002 and was state runner-up in 2004 • two-time All-American • four-time all-area and four-time all-conference selection • team captain • played forward in soccer • three-year starter • three-time all-area and all-conference selection • led team in scoring her final two seasons • honor roll student.

Personal: Erin Lee Zimmerman • daughter of David and Lorraine Zimmerman • has a younger brother • mother is a preschool teacher and played college lacrosse at Harcum Junior College • CHEP major at Delaware with a minor in coaching.
