Delaware 14, Drexel 8 March 25, 2003 Kron, Kucharski Each Net Three Goals to Pace Hens   NEWARK, DE -- Senior Nikki Kucharski registered her second hat trick of the season and junior attack Shannon Kron added three goals as the University of Delaware women's lacrosse team rolled past Drexel, 14-8, Tuesday night in Colonial Athletic Association action at Rullo Stadium. Freshman Kristin Cellucci and Laura Libertini each scored two goals for the Blue Hens, who defeated Drexel for the 10th straight time and improved to 18-1 lifetime against the Dragons. Nikki Kucharski came off the bench to tally three goals With the win, Delaware (3-4, 2-0 CAA) has posted a 2-0 mark to start conference play for the fourth time in five seasons. Drexel's Chrissy Sheehan opened the scoring at 27:39, but Delaware reeled off six of the next seven goals, highlighted by the first two of Kucharski's three goals on the night, to open up a 6-2 lead. Goals by Kron and junior Michelle Campolettano stretched Delaware's lead to 9-5 entering halftime. Delaware proceeded to score the first three goals of the second half to open a commanding 12-5 lead and never looked back. Junior Libby Pforr, along with sophomore's Erin Edell and Allison Lynch, each scored goals for Delaware, while Edell added two assists. In addition, Kron and Kucharski each dished out an assist to finish with four points each. Sheehan finished with three goals for Drexel (3-3, 0-2 CAA) while Katrina Rand chipped in with two goals and two assists. Delaware freshman goalkeeper Patrice Hughes recorded five saves on the night while sophomore Lauren Burtch entered the game late in the second half and posted three saves. Shirley Sarker of Drexel registered 13 saves in a losing effort. The Blue Hens return to action on Saturday when they travel to New York to take on the Pride of Hofstra University in CAA action.
