WILLIAMSBURG, VA -- University of Delaware women's lacrosse standouts Casey McCrudden and Jessica Cerveny (at right) were named to the Colonial Athletic Association All-Tournament Team on Sunday after both shined in the Blue Hens' 15-14 semifinal loss to William & Mary on Friday evening.

McCrudden, a senior attack who scored a team-high four goals in the season-ending setback, and Cerveny, a junior goalkeeper who made 10 saves to keep the Hens in contention, were among 11 players selected to the all-tourney team by a vote of participating coaches.

McCrudden and Cerveny were joined on the team by goalkeeper Mandy Corry of Towson, the tourney's Most Outstanding Performer, and fellow Tigers Hillary Fratzke, Nikki Marcinik, and Katie Mollot. Maggie Anderson, Sarah Jonson, and Jaime Sellers of William & Mary and Chelsea Gamble and Laura King of George Mason rounded out the squad.

Third-seeded Towson toppled No. 1 seed William & Mary 16-7 in Sunday's championship game to earn a berth in the NCAA Tournament.

McCrudden, a second-team all-league selection, finished the season with a team-high 43 goals and also dished out two assists. Her 45 points were third-most on the team, while she led the Hens with 90 shots on the year and netted a pair of game-winning goals.

Cerveny collected 153 saves and posted a solid 10.88 goals against average this season en route to an 11-6 record and first-team all-CAA honors. She started all 17 games and recorded a .461 save percentage for the Blue Hens, who matched last season's win total of 11 and fell in the CAA semis for the second straight year.
