At Delaware: Expected to start in the Blue Hen backfield.

2004: Started all 18 matches on defense for Delaware • led a defense that allowed a league-low 0.89 goals per game • ranked second on the team with four assists • assisted on goals against Stony Brook, Temple, Hofstra, and Towson • recorded 11 shots on the season •  named to CAA Academic Honor Roll.

2003: Started all 19 matches for the Blue Hens • was an integral part of a defense that allowed 1.00 goals per game • recorded an assist in the 2-0 win over UNC Wilmington on November 1 • had four shots on the season.

2002: One of two freshmen to start all 19 contests for Delaware • notched an assist against Lehigh, Mount St. Mary’s, and Drexel • also played a big part in Delaware’s 1.14 goals against average.

High School: Was a Harrisburg Patriot News Big 11 first team selection as a senior at Lower Dauphin High School • team was Capital Division and Mid-Penn Conference champions during her tenure there • member of 2002 EPYSA State ODP National Champions (U-17) with current Delaware  teammate Allison Kendro.

Personal: Melissa Michelle Kunisky • born August 23, 1984 • daughter of Thomas and Donna Kunisky • has two older brothers • honor student as a sociology major at Delaware.
