2007: Appeared in seven matches in the Delaware midfield • recorded an assist in the 7-0 victory over Saint Joseph’s on September 2 and in the 4-3 win over Georgia State on October 21 • posted one shot on the season.

High School: Played center midfield and forward for St. Thomas Aquinas High School from 2003-06 • named to National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-New England Team as a senior • team won Class I state title in 2006 and ended season ranked No. 14 in nation by NSCAA • played basketball and lacrosse as a freshman • honor roll student.

Personal: Jilyse M. Vendola (juh-lease ven-duh-luh) • daughter of John and Joan Vendola • has four sisters: Jennel, Joslyn, Jackley, and Juliane • three youngest sisters all play or have played soccer at the college level • has not declared a major at Delaware • worked as a hostess during the summer.
