The University of Delaware (1-6-1) women's soccer team lost its fourth straight game on Wednesday 1-0 to Loyola (Md.) (5-3-1)at the College of Notre Dame's Alumnae Field. With the loss Delaware extended its winless streak to seven games, and stretched its scoreless streak to 438:36. The two teams played a scoreless first half. Loyola took the lead early in the second half when Hannah Stark's left foot shot hit off the left crossbar past Delaware goalkeeper Alison Martin and bounced directly to a charging Naura Groarke, who drilled a right-footed shot into the open net.Loyola outshot Delaware 11-4, 6-1 in the first half and 5-3 in the second half. Martin played in her second game since her knee injury, and Cate Harrisonand Kim Reynolds played through injuries suffered in the previous game.
