NEWARK, DE -- Kelly Ollis headed home a cross from Melissa Mueller just 35 seconds into the second overtime to give the Towson University women's soccer team a 1-0 win over the University of Delaware Friday afternoon at Delaware Field.

Delaware (8-2-1, 1-1 America East) controlled much of the action in the second half, but could not score past Towson goalkeeper Tina Steck. Fran Termini led the Blue Hens with three shots.

Freshman goalkeeper Erin Johnson made four saves for Delaware, who recorded seven corner kicks on the day.

Steck made six saves for the Tigers (6-4, 2-0).

Delaware will return to action Oct. 3 when the Blue Hens travel to Princeton for a 7:30 p.m. match.
