BETHLEHEM, PA-- Junior Brittany
Campbell (Notre Dame/Newtown, PA) scored two goals to help
lift the University of Delaware to a 3-1 victory over Lehigh
University Wednesday afternoon.
Sophomore Francesca Termini
(Oceanside/Oceanside, NY) also added one goal and one assist
as Delaware snapped a three game losing streak to raise
their overall record to 3-3.
Campbell's first goal came 15:10 in the match,
but just a little over three minutes later, Lehigh answered
back to tie the on a goal by Christene Banda.
With less than a minute remaining in the first
half, Campbell put Delaware up for good when she took a pass
from Termini and scored her second goal on the night, and
fourth on the season.
Delaware midfielders Megan McFadden and
Ginette Buffone both tallied assists, while goalie Rachel
Bersin recorded four saves in the winning effort.
The Blue Hens get a chance to rest up, as
their next game is a week away when they host George Mason
on October 3, at 7 p.
