An exhausted Caryn Blood looks on in overtime. Delaware and VCU battled to a scoreless tie.

NEWARK, DE-- Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Lindsay Shover extended her shutout string to 337 minutes as Delaware and Virginia Commonwealth played to a 0-0 tie in Colonial Athletic Association women's soccer action at Delaware Mini-Stadium on Sunday.

Shover, a native of Lancaster, PA and product of Penn Manor HS, has not allowed a goal in action this season. She recorded her third shutout of the season and raised her mark to 3-0-1 this season. She recorded three saves in Sunday's game.

VCU's Chrissy Lloyd recorded her fifth shutout of the season. The junior from Chester, VA has not allowed a goal in her last four outings.

With the tie, Delaware moved to 6-3-1 overall, 2-0-1 in CAA action. The Rams moved to 10-1-1 and 3-0-1 in the CAA after the deadlock.

Delaware outshot VCU, 12-8, for the game. Each team had four corner kicks.

Delaware returns to action next Friday when it travels to James Madison.
