HARRISONBURG, Va.– The University of Delaware women’s soccer team managed just six shots all night as they were defeated 3-0 by James Madison in a Colonial Athletic Association road match on Friday night.
JMU improved to 8-3-2 (4-1) on the year while Delaware fell to 4-7-1, 1-4. The Blue Hens are winless in their last three games and have now been shut out six times for the year.
All three of the Dukes’ goals came in the first 16 minutes of play. Jess Remmes scored off an assist from Rachel Chupein at 9:26. Not two minutes later, potential Herman Trophy candidate Cate Tisinger scored an unassisted goal. Finally, Corky Julien scored off an assist from Ashley Flateland at 15:06 to end the Dukes’ scoring onslaught.
