At Delaware: Has earned one letter • 2006-07 Season: Finished the 400 individual medley in 4:45.12 versus Widener, fifth fastest on the team • finished the 200 individual medley in 2:113.90 against Loyola, seventh best on the season • swam the 100 butterfly in 1:02.87 and the 200 butterfly in 2:22.39 at a CAA quad meet, and the 200 freestyle in 2:00.81 against George Mason, all eighth best by a Blue Hen on the season • named to CAA Academic Honor Roll • 2005-06 Season: Swam the 400 individual medley in 4:50.48, fourth best by a Blue Hen on the season • swam the 100 breaststroke in 1:14.45, fifth best on the year • her 2:17.67 in the 200 individual medley and 2:20.78 time in the 200 butterfly were the seventh fastest times • named to CAA Academic Honor Roll.

High School: Earned four letters in swimming at Immaculate Heart Academy • earned first team honors in the 400 freestyle relay, second team honors in the 200 individual medley, and selected honorable mention in the 100 butterfly • member of National Honor Society and National Spanish Honor Society • honor roll student.

Personal: Amara Brianne Rivera • daughter of Frank and Aurea Rivera • older sister, Amanda, swam for Rowan University while twin sister, Amelia, swims for Rutgers University • honor student as a hotel, restaurant, and institutional management major at Delaware with a minor in Spanish • named a UD Latina Student of Distinction • banquet intern at the Marriott during the summer.
