The University of Delaware men's and women's swimming and diving teams split an America East meet with Drexel Saturday afternoon at the Drexel Physical Education Athletic Center Pool.

The Blue Hen women (3-0) stayed unbeaten on the season with a 133- 100 victory over the host Dragons while the Delaware men (2-1) suffered their first loss of the season with a 129-114 setback.

In the women's meet, Delaware swimmers captured six first place finishes as freshman Jennifer Haus (St. Mark's HS) won three events and freshman Kathryn Fryer (Severna Park, MD/HS) won two events and set a school record. Haus won the 200 freestyle (1:57.80) and 100 freestyle (54.56) events while Fryer set a school record in winning the 200 butterfly in 2:10.30.

Other winners for the Blue Hens were Amy Spooner (Maple Glen, PA/Upper Dublin) in the 200 individual medley (2:16;09) and Sara Dyson (Bethlehem, PA/Liberty) won the 200 breaststroke (2:31.08). The 400 medley relay team of Lisa Dillinger, Dyson, Fryer, and Haus won in a time of 4:06.34.
