NEWARK, DE -- Tanya Mainville captured both the one-meter and three-meter diving events to lead the University of Delaware women's swimming team to a 130-112 non-league victory over Old Dominion Saturday at Rawstrom Pool.

The Blue Hen women (7-5) won for the third time in the last four meets with the win over Old Dominion (0-8). In the men's meet, Old Dominion (6-2) upended Delaware (5-7) by a score of 162-81.

Mainville won the one-meter event with a score of 352.05 and followed with a win in the three-meters (408.3) to lead the Hens. Delaware also received victories from freshman Jennifer Haus in the 100 freestyle (54.76), Lisa Dillinger in the 200 backstroke (2:11.78), and the 400 freestyle relay team of Christine Johannsen, Amy Spooner, Laura Yonych, and Amanda Stouffer in 3:49.07. Haus was also second in the 200 freestyle while Johannsen was second in the 200 backstroke, Kathryn Fryer was second in the 200 butterfly, Stouffer was second in both the 50 and 100 freestyle, and Spooner was second in both the 1,000 and 500 freestyle events. Mary Kay Bolduc won three events to lead Old Dominion.

In the men's meet, Old Dominion won all but two races as Jimmy Sullivan captured both the 500 freestyle and 1,000 freestyle events. Leading the Blue Hens were junior Tom Maday who won the 200 individual medley (1:59.80) and placed second in the 200 breaststroke (2:10.91) and Brian Aston who captured the one-meter dive with 435 points and was second in the three-meter event with 449 points.

Placing second for the Blue Hens were Jim Riechart in the 1,000 freestyle (10:02.15) and the 400 freestyle relay team of Brian McGillen, Ryan Fauth, Mike Zambarano, and Ian Miller.
