The University of Delaware men's and women's swimming and diving teams swept West Chester in their home opener at Rawstrom Pool Saturday afternoon. The Blue Hen men (2-0) downed West Chester 151-92 while the UD women (2-0) downed the Rams 148-95 to give head coach John Hayman his 100th career dual meet victory. The Delaware women captured nine first place finishes on the day as freshman Jennifer Haus (St. Mark's HS) won the 200 freestyle (1:57.13) and 100 freestyle (55.12), Amanda Stouffer won the 50 freestyle (25.60), Kathryn Fryer won the 200 butterfly (2:11.80), Lisa Dillinger won the 200 backstroke (2:14.60), Suzanne Ryder won the one-meter dive (232.05), Stephanie Bertkau won the three-meter dive (191.25), and Sara Dyson won the 200 breaststroke (2:29.36). Haus, Dillinger, Dyson, and Fryer teamed up to win the 400 medley relay in 4:05.83.
