NEWARK, DE -- University of Delaware men’s and women’s swimming and diving head coach John Hayman has announced the addition of 15 more high school standouts who will attend the University next fall and compete for the Blue Hens.

Laurel, NJ (Bishop Eustace Prep), Chung Shin of Hockessin, DE (A.I. duPont HS), and Michael Wodoslawsky of Damascus, MD (Damascus HS).

“This upcoming season could be a banner year for the men’s program,” said Hayman, who led the Blue Hen women to a fifth place finish and the men to an eighth place finish at the Colonial Athletic Association Championships in February. “This year’s incoming freshman class of swimmers is not only one of the largest, but is certainly the most talented since I have been at Delaware. We have virtually covered all of our openings and weak spots. Each of these freshmen have the potential of scoring big for us in the conference. Although the women's incoming freshman class is not as large as the men's, we do have some great talent joining our team next year. We graduate five seniors and this freshman class should make up for the loss of some great swimmers.”
