BETHLEHEM, PA -- Senior Erin Kamen became just the third player in University of Delaware history to record 60 singles wins as the Blue Hens posted a 7-2 non-league women's tennis victory over host Lehigh University Monday afternoon.

Kamen, a senior from Lake Forest, IL (Central Bucks East, Pa. HS), posted a 6-3, 6-0 win over Megan Dencker at the No. 4 singles spot to improve to 2-0 on the season and 60-9 for her career. Only current UD head coach Laura Travis (73-12 in 1985-88) and Rebecca Fearins (69-14 in 1993-97) have reached the 60-win mark in UD women's tennis history.

Also posting singles wins for the Blue Hens (2-0) were Kristin Wasniewski at No. 2, Jessica Wilkes at No. 5, and Martine Street at No. 6.

The Hens also swept doubles play as the No. 1 team of Wasniewski and Elly Giese, the No. 2 team of Kamen and Stefanie Hershfeld, and the No. 3 team of Street and Karen Greenstein all posted victories.

Delaware continues play this weekend at the America East North-South Rumble at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH.
