North-South Rumble at UNH

DURHAM, NH -- The University of Delaware women's
tennis team raised\ its record to 4-0 with an 8-1 America
East conference victory over host New Hampshire at the
North-South Rumble Saturday afternoon.
The Blue Hens (4-0) will close out the three-day event
Sunday at 8 a.m. when they take on Vermont. New Hampshire
fell to 6-3 with the loss.
Delaware won five of the six singles matches, winning all
five in straight sets. Picking up wins were Kristin
Wasniewski at No. 2, Karen Greenstein at No. 3,
Erin Kamen at No. 4, Jessica Wilkes at No. 5,
and Martine Street at No. 6. Wasniewski, Kamen, and
Wilkes all improved to 4-0 on the season.
The Hens also won all three doubles matches as the teams
of Wasniewski and Elly Giese at No. 1, Greenstein and
Street at No. 2, and Kamen and Wilkes at No. 3 were all
winners.
