At Palm Beach Atlantic: Played at No. 1 singles for two years for the Sailfish...2008 National Christian College Athletic Association All-American in both singles and doubles play...2009 NCCAA All-American for singles...2008 ITA Scholar Athlete...named student-athlete of the week on multiple occasions.

Personal: Montserrat Ripoll...born Dec. 24, 1988 in Mexico City...daughter of Jose Maria Ripoll and Alejandra Vallejo...mother is a Fed Cup coach for Mexico...she played in the Fed Cup for Mexico...while WTA ranked 134 she defeated world's No. 9... mother a gold medalist at Panamericas and silver medalist at Centralamericas...has an older sister Alejandra who played tennis for one year at Wichita State and three years at Northwood University...a chemical engineering major with a mathematics minor...tutors physics, chemistry and math during the summer months in Mexico...started playing tennis at age of three.
