Susan Pollack will begin her second season as assistant coach for the University of Delaware women's and men's tennis teams in 2009-10.
A native of Wyomissing, Pa., Pollack was Travis' No. 1 singles and doubles player for four years before graduating in May of 2008. She was named First Team All-CAA Doubles Team and Second Team All-CAA Singles Team in 2006, and second team in singles and doubles in 2008 as well. Pollack ranks fourth on the Career Singles Wins list, compiling a record of 67-28 from 2004-2008. Her 19 wins in 2004-05 is tied for seventh in Single-Season Singles wins. She also is tied for 7th all-time in individual career doubles wins with 50 from 2005-2008. She and current team member Amanda Campbell own the most team doubles wins in a season (22-5 in 2005-06) and for a career, going 34-8 from 2005-07.
She has also served on the Student Athletic Advisory Council (division of student government for athletics) since 2005, and the Helping Each Newcomer Succeed (HENS) Program to mentor incoming freshmen athletes since 2006.
