The University of Delaware women's tennis team
bounced back from a rough weekend and defeated St.
Joseph's on Tuesday afternoon. The Blue Hens (7-3)
who lost three straight matches this weekend to St.
John's,Central Connecticut State and Army, bounced
back by defeating St. Joseph's 8-0. Delaware has
now won 49 out of its last 53 matches since 1995.
Kristen Wasniewski, Karen Greenstein, Tracy
Guerin, Erin Kamen, Elly Giese and Martine
Street all won in singles action, while
Greenstein-Guerin and Kamen-Street were victorious
in doubles action. Wasniewski-Rachel Dencker
would have had a chance to tie the record for most
doubles wins in school history, but their match was
postponed due to darkness.
