The University of Delaware women's tennis completed a three-match sweep at the University of New Hampshire North-South Rumble Sunday with a 9-0 victory over the University of Vermont. The Blue Hens (5-0), who defeated New Hampshire and Hartford earlier in the weekend, remained unbeaten on the season and have now now won 47 of their last 48 matches since 1995. The Hens swept all six singles matches in straight sets as Kristin Wasniewski (Archmere HS) won at No. 1, Karen Greenstein (New Rochelle/New Rochelle, NY) at No. 2, Tracy Guerin (Ho-Ho- Kus/Midland Park, NJ) at No. 3, Erin Kamen (Central Bucks East HS) at No. 4, Elly Giese (National Cathedral/Washington, DC) at No. 5, and Rachel Dencker at No. 6. Kamen improved to 42-4 in her career to move into fifth place on the all-time UD wins list while Greenstein improved to 40-5. The Hens are now 29-1 in singles play this season. Dencker (Concord HS) extended her winning streak in singles play to 16. In doubles play, Wasniewski and Dencker won at the No. 1 spot to improve their career record together to 24-1.
