October 11, 2003 Principe sweeps 6-0, 6-0 to pick up career win No. 24
PHILADELPHIA -- The University of Delaware men's and women's tennis teams swept a tennis doubleheader from La Salle University on Saturday, the men winning by a 7-0 score, while the women won, 6-1. On the men's side, John Tully and Sanjay Khindri each picked up their 35th career wins with their straight-set victories. Tully, a junior from Pittsford, NY, is a perfect 11-0 this season, including 7-0 as Delaware's lead player. The men are now 6-2 on the season. On the women's side, the Blue Hens ran their match record to 2-2 on the season as Beth Principe won 6-0, 6-0 to earn her 24th career win. A senior from Warren, NJ, Principe is now 5-3 this season.
