HIGH SCHOOL: Four-year standout in tennis at Wyomissing Area High School...played at No. 2 singles her first three seasons and was No. 1 player as a senior...team won four straight state team titles...one of top players in state during career, placing second in singles at state championships as a freshman, sophomore, and senior and placing third as a junior...won county and district singles titles as a senior...posted four career top four finishes in the county and four top three finishes at the district level.

AT DELAWARE: Outstanding sophomore who will play at No. 1 singles and No. 1 doubles for the second straight year for the Blue Hens...2004-05: Enjoyed an outstanding debut for the Blue Hens as a freshman...took over No. 1 singles and doubles spot to start the season...posted a record of 19-9 in singles play (all at No. 1), the fourth highest single season win total in UD history and second highest by a freshman...28 matches was the third highest total in UD history...won 11 straight singles matches at one point in the season...went 17-7 in doubles play, going 10-4 with Sari Shuster at No. 1 spot and 7-3 with Alexa Dragonette at No. 1...earned CAA Player of the Week honors on March 23...during the fall season, captured “A” singles title at Swarthmore Invitational, placed second in “A-1” doubles at Hampton Roads Tournament at Old Dominion, and competed at Intercollegiate Tennis Association East Regionals at singles and doubles, losing in the first round in both.

PERSONAL: Susan Elizabeth Pollack...born June 6, 1986...marketing major at Delaware...daughter of Robert and Judy Pollack...parents own and operate Pollack Furs...only child...began playing tennis at age five...enjoys running and playing the piano in her spare time.
