TOWSON, MD -- The UNC Wilmington women’s tennis team recorded a 6-1 victory over the University of Delaware in Colonial Athletic Association action Saturday morning at the Towson tennis courts.

Amanda Campbell (right) was the only winner for the Blue Hens (4-4, 0-1 CAA) as she posted a 6-3, 3-6, 10-4 victory over Molly Molony at No. 2 singles to improve to 11-4 on the season. Lindsey Hess defeated Susan Pollack 6-2, 6-2 at No. 1 for the Seahawks (15-3, 2-0 CAA), while Lauren Isenhour notched a 6-1, 6-0 win over Liz Perlow at No. 3.

Kristin Mears defated Sari Shuster 6-0, 6-3 at No. 4 for UNC Wilmington, Katie Carlson topped Alexa Dragonette 6-4, 6-0 at No. 5, and Cassie Martin defeated Brittany Barsky 6-2, 6-2 at No. 6.

Hess and Isenhour edged Pollack and Campbell 8-7 (4) at No. 1 doubles, while Carlson and Molony topped Dragonette and Barsky 8-3 at No. 2. Martin and Mears completed the doubles sweep for the Seahawks by posting an 8-3 win over Julie Schiller and Shuster at No. 6.

Delaware faces James Madison Sunday at 11 a.m. in Towson.
