PHILADELPHIA, Pa. - University of Delaware women’s tennis team member Elena Berry (at right) fell 6-2, 6-0 to the University of Maryland’s Peters in round two of the ITA Northeast Regional singles play Sunday afternoon.
Berry won her first round match yesterday, 6-3, 6-4 over Manhattan’s Keeler before falling to Peters. With the loss, she ended the fall season with a mark of 12-3.
The UD women’s tennis team collectively finished 73-19 in singles play and 38-11 in doubles play in the fall season.
The Blue Hens are now off until spring play.
