COLLEGE PARK, Md. - The University of Delaware women's tennis team compiled a record of 11-8 on Saturday and Megan Doran and Amanda Campbell (at right) will contend for the Flight B Doubles title today at the University of Maryland Invitational.
In Flight A singles play, Elena Berry dropped her round three match before bouncing back to win in round four. Doran won both of her singles matches.
In both rounds of Flight B singles play, the Hens picked up a win by default, but went on to lose their other two matches.
Samantha Carnall won round three by default and then won her round four match in Flight C singles. Mueller won her first match but lost her second.
Doubles play saw Berry and Lauren Gruber go 1-1 and Ivana Petrich and Carnall go 0-2. Doran and Campbell won their semi-final match and play today for the title.
Day three, the final day of action in this tournament, kicks off today at 9 am.
