2010: Named the team's Perry Burkett Triple Effort Award winner for determination, dedication, and enthusiasm • batted .214 while appearing in 10 games, starting in three behind the plate for the Blue Hens • totaled three hits in 14 at bats, two of which went for doubles • drove in a career high two runs in a 8-5 win at Old Dominon on May 16 • hit a double against Towson in a 8-2 loss on April 18 and agains against ODU on May 16 • Colonial Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll.
At Mercer County (N.J.) Community College: Member of the Mercer baseball team for two seasons • earned first-team All-Region 19 honors in 2008 • hit .339 with 23 RBI as a freshman • also gunned down 85 percent of would-be base stealers • led the team to the Region 19 Championship.
High School: Standout member of the Ewing High baseball team from 2003-07 • earned four letters as the squad’s catcher • also competed for the bowling team • awarded four letters as a bowler and served as the squad’s anchor • led the team to the state championship in 2007 • earned two letters in soccer as well.
Personal: David Nicholas "Dave" Angebranndt (pronounced "Ange-brant") • son of Bruce and Elizabeth Angebranndt • has an older brother, Dan • enjoys hunting and fishing in his spare time • majoring in health and physical education at Delaware.
