High School: Gatorade State Player of the Year in 2010 capping a four-year career at Saint Mark's • key cog in back-to-back state championships in 2009 and 2010 • first-team all-state selection in 2009-10 • went 7-0 with a 1.19 earned run average and 46 strikeouts in 41.0 innings in addition to hitting .408 at the plate with three home runs, 22 RBIs, and a .745 slugging percentage during senior season.
