Liberty Bell Classic Final against Villanova Postponed Again; Makeup Date to be Announced

PHILADELPHIA - - Rain causes a cancellation once again for the University of Delaware baseball team as the wet weather postponed Wednesday night’s Liberty Bell Classic Final at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia against Villanova.The game was scheduled to start at 7:30 p.m.
The Philadelphia Phillies organization plans to reschedule the 20th annual championship held in its home ballpark, but the date is still to be determined.
Next on the docket for the first place Blue Hens (18-14, 10-5 CAA) is a Colonial Athletic Association matchup with Towson for a three game set starting Friday at 3 p.m. at John B Schuerholz Park.
