At Delaware: Freshman who adds depth and will challenge for playing time in the midfield for the Blue Hens.

High School: Four-year starter and letterwinner for head coach Laurie Kerr and the Blue Streaks • led team to a 21-3-1 record, the best record in school history • team was the Skyland Conference Delaware West Champion, Hunterdon/Warren/Sussex Champions, North II Group II Sectional Champions, and Group III N.J. State Runners-up in 2009 • team rankings voted the Star Ledger: #8 in N.J., #1 in West Jersey, and #2 in N.J.Group III • scored 39 goals and 39 assists for 117 points in four-year career • team went 68-19-2 over career • two-time All-Skyland Conference • two-time All-Area Express-Times • Express-Times and Star Ledger West Jersey "Player of the Year" as a senior • All-State Group III• Team MVP 2008-09 • named Futures Elite Athlete in Futures program • played for Jersey Intensity club team, won two gold medals at Festival and two more at indoor nationals.

Personal: Toni Popinko • daughter of James and Sylvia Popinko • health and physical education major at Delaware • aspirations of becoming a coach at the college level • has two younger sisters, Tori and Tali.
