2009: Appeared in 18 games with two starts for Delaware • earned starting nods in back-to-back contests against California on Sept. 20 and VCU on Sept. 25 • posted three assists during the year • aided on goals against Louisville on Aug. 30 and Brown on Sept. 6 • also assisted on an insurance goal during the team’s 4-0 victory over No. 12 Old Dominion on Oct. 2 • uncorked five shots, including three on-goal, during the year • named to the CAA Academic Honor Roll.
2008: Appeared in one game as a redshirt freshman • saw her first career action against No. 2 Maryland • earned a place on the NFHCA National Academic All-American Team • also was selected to the CAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll for her success in the classroom.
2007: Did not see game action for Delaware and retained freshman eligibility.
High School: Named to all-county team as a senior in field hockey and soccer • three-year starter in field hockey and four-year starter in soccer at Central York • served as team captain for two seasons in field hockey and for one year in soccer • member of National Honor Society • distinguished honor roll student • President of Varsity Club.
Personal: Carli Jo Shutter • has a sister, Abby, and a half-sister, Alexa • exercise science major at Delaware • shares team representative duties to the UD Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC) with Tory Sharpless and serves as SAAC secretary.
