Season Tickets Now on Sale for 2012 University of Delaware Field Hockey Campaign

NEWARK, Del. -- Season tickets are on sale now for the 2012 University of Delaware field hockey campaign as the Blue Hens look to continue their climb to the top of the Colonial Athletic Association standings under second-year head coach Rolf van de Kerkhof.
Fans will have the chance to witness all the fast-paced action of NCAA Division I field hockey as the Blue Hens host nine games at Rullo Stadium, including games against nationally-ranked programs such as defending national runner-up North Carolina as well as Boston University, Albany, Northeastern, and Hofstra.
Season tickets are on sale now for just $30 for adults and just $20 for youths 17 and under and seniors 60 and older. The Blue Hens will return seven starters and the top three scorers from last year’s squad that advanced to the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament semifinals under van de Kerkhof. A talented group of exciting newcomers will also be added to the mix as Blue Hens look to move up in the national rankings.
Among the special promotions taking place this season will be Family Fun Fridays set for Aug. 24 vs. Boston University, Sept. 7 vs. North Carolina, Oct. 5 vs. Northeastern, and Oct. 26 vs. James Madison.
Families can purchase a discounted $10 ticket package to these designated Friday evening games this season. The Family Fun Friday $10 ticket deal includes admission for two adults and two youths (17 & Under) to one game played on a Friday – a savings of almost 40 percent off the gameday price. Tickets must be purchased at least 48 hours in advance.
Group tickets are also available this season for discounted prices of $3 (groups of 20-49 people) and $1 (groups of 50 or more).
Delaware is also offering a single-game Hens High Five Tunnel Package for $105, which includes 30 games tickets for the group, the opportunity to purchase additional tickets at the discounted rate of $3, recognition of the group with a public address announcement, and a group picture forming the tunnel.
