At Delaware: One of the top centers in the nation…Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-American nominee…named pre-season first team All-American by Consensus Draft Services, joining teammates Gino Gradkowski and Shea Allard on first team…also named pre-season first team by the CAA coaches and media and second team All-CAA by Phil Steele College Football Preview…anchors an offensive line that returns four starters and ranks as one of the top units in the nation…fourth-year member of the squad who has started every game of his career, including the last three seasons at center…has started all 38 games of his career and is the team’s most experienced players…should Delaware advance to the post-season, could reach the school record for consecutive starts of 51 by cornerback Sidney Haugabrook in 2004-07…intelligent player who is athletic in space...one of team’s strongest offensive linemen…strong leader.

2010 Season: Continued to be one of the Hens’ most consistent and effective offensive linemen as he started all 15 games and earned his third letter...named second team All-Colonial Athletic Association...helped team rank No. 2 in the CAA in total offense with 401.8 yards per game, rushing offense at 184.4 yards per game and scoring offense with 27.9 points per game...part of a group that was pivotal in CAA Rookie of the Year Andrew Pierce and CAA Offensive Player of the Year Pat Devlin's All-American success…named Blue Hen Touchdown Club Offensive Player of the Week vs. James Madison...earned a spot on the Colonial Athletic Association Academic All-Conference team... team went 12-3 and advanced to the FCS national title game under head coach K.C. Keeler.

2009 Season: One of the top members of an offensive line that was second in the CAA in passing (243.4 yards per game) and fifth in total offense (355.0 avg.)…made a smooth transition from guard to center as he replaced two-year All-American Kheon Hendricks…started all 11 games in the middle for the Blue Hens…led the offensive line in production points vs. Towson, Navy, and Villanova…named Blue Hen Touchdown Club Offensive Player of the Week vs. Navy…team went 6-5 under Keeler.

2008 Season: One of the most pleasant surprises on the offensive side of the ball during the season...made a strong impact in pre-season drills as a true freshman and earned the starting spot at left guard a week before the season opener...kept starting spot and started every game as each of the five UD offensive linemen started all 12 contests...became the first true freshman offensive lineman to start the opener for Delaware since Steve Butcher in 1951 and the first ever to start every game in his first year...was one of only three true freshmen to see action for the Hens during the season but the only one to start a game....was first commitment of the 2008 recruiting class…team went 4-8 under Keeler.

High School: Played at DeMatha High School for head coach Bill McGregor...also competed for the DeMatha wrestling team and coach Dick Messier...played center, offensive tackle, and defensive end in football at DeMatha..led team to three-year record of 33-3 and three straight Washington Catholic Athletic Conference league championships...team was ranked No. 10 nationally by USA Today in 2006 (12-0) and No. 14 in 2005 (11-1)...led 2007 squad to 10-2 mark...posted 52 “pancake” blocks as a senior and 47 as a junior...set school squat lift record (605 lbs.)...earned second team All-State honors as a senior...also named first team All-DC Sports, all-county, and second team all-metro as a senior and was a two-time first team All-WCAC selection...two-year standout heavyweight wrestler who went 60-3 and won two league titles his final two seasons...named to Principal’s List and Honor Roll all four years of high school.
