GAMEDAY HAPPENINGS  – Delaware Blue Hens vs. Towson Tigers

Traffic & Parking:  Season and single game parking lots open at 11:30 am.  Single game parking is available for $15.  Season passes must be displayed at all times and patrons must enter through the Entrance indicated on their parking pass.

Due to expected high traffic volume and area construction, fans are encouraged to arrive early.  Fans traveling from the North are encouraged to travel from Route 273 to Route 4.  Fans traveling from the South are encouraged to take Route 72 to Route 4.  Patrons traveling southbound on 896 (S. College Ave.) will not be able to make a left hand turn into Stadium lots.  In addition, handicap patrons should enter Gate F located on Route 4 as the handicap parking has been relocated to behind the BCC due to construction.

Complimentary jitney service will run in parking lots beginning at 1:30 pm and will resume again post game.  Drop-off and Pick-up will be located at the Northwest exterior corner of the Stadium.
Handicap patrons may be dropped off and enter through the South East corner of the Stadium for their convenience.  Special assistance for individuals to and from their vehicles may be requested at any Guest Relations location.

Special Ticket Packages:  Keeler’s Korner, includes a $9 ticket and a special concession voucher, limited availability, must be purchased in ADVANCE, NOT available on gameday; Blue Hen 2-Pack Attack, includes a game ticket to Villanova and Towson for only $39.  Call 302-831-2257 for more details.  Great seats still available!

UD Athletic Ticket Office Opens At Delaware Stadium: 1:30 pm. Windows located adjacent to the Main Entrance on the West side of Stadium. Fans may order in advance by calling 302-831-2257 or visiting the online ticket center at www.bluehens.com.

Gates Open At Delaware Stadium: 1:30 pm. Please plan for delays at entrances for security checks.
Fan Zone: 1:30 to 3:30 pm.  Adjacent to Main Entrance on West side of Stadium.
New family friendly fun zone!  Live entertainment featuring the music of Diego Paulo beginning at 1:30 pm on the Delaware Lottery Stage followed by the WDSD pre-game show beginning at 2:30 p.m.  Also, don’t forget to visit the Future Hens Club booth for face painting and then stop by the Bird Feeder for a snack while the kids enjoy playing on the giant inflatable bounce house!

  • Fan Zone Partners include: College of Health Sciences, Delaware Express, Pinnacle Energy, Groucho’s Deli, NC Farmer’s Market, Studio Green, PNC, WDSD, Raymond Entertainment, Ceil County Office of Economic Dev., and Nucar.

The Coop: 1:30 to 3:30 pm.  Adjacent to the Fan Zone on West side of Stadium.
New open hospitality area for our guests 21 and over to stop by and purchase adult beverages and snacks while catching live college gameday broadcasts.  Must be 21 and over for entry and must present valid photo id and paid game ticket.  Mention you are a UD Alum to the bartender and receive a $1 off special.
Student Entrance Programming: 1:30 to 3:30 pm.  Partners include SCPAB, ARMY ROTC and Studio Green.
Guest Relations:  Fans are invited to stop by our Guest Relations kiosks beginning two hours prior to kickoff outside the main entrances on the West side and East side of the Stadium, or at the main kiosk inside the Stadium on the West side until the conclusion of the game with questions or concerns.  Parents may visit a kiosk to register their child with the Lost Parents Program.

Pigskin Pass:  Join us pregame as UD and Towson student-athletes take part in the 5th annual Pigskin Pass, a 58 mile relay run from Towson’s Johnny Unitas Stadium to Delaware Stadium.  The Pigskin Pass is a community service initiative exemplifying athletes supporting athletes. Student-athletes raise money by registering to run in the event and then getting additional pledges to support their efforts.  The money raised will support each state’s Special Olympics program.  Special Olympics is the world’s largest sports organization for people with intellectual disabilities.   For more information and to support the event visit http://www.pigskinpass.com.

Homecoming Banner Competition:  The 1st place winning UD student group of the 2010 Homecoming Banner Spirit Competition will be seated VIP in front of the SEZ student section with their winning banner on display in front of their seats throughout the game to show off their Blue Hen spirit!

Concessions Gameday Special:  Stop by the Smoker Pit outside the west main gate of Delaware Stadium for Maryland Crab Soup for lunch.

Future Hens: Welcome to game 6 of the 2010 University of Delaware Blue Hens Football season!  Sign-up for the Future Hens Club in the Fan Zone before kick-off and receive FREE admission to multiple UD athletic events, including the 11/20 football game vs. Villanova.

Marines Chin-Up Challenge:  Attention UD Students! Are you up to the challenge?  Stop by the Marines' display booth located near the student section to compete in the Chin-Up Challenge, and ask for more information about the United States Marine Corps. It is Delaware vs. Towson so come out and see how many chin-ups you can do and bring to Marines Trophy home to Delaware!  Live what others only dream of.
