Delaware Football Service Appreciation Night Set For Sept. 10; Deadline Sept. 2 for $5 Tickets for Service Personnel

NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware is calling all service men and women to take part in the Blue Hen football team’s season opener next Saturday, Sept. 10 at Delaware Stadium.
All military, police, fire, and EMT service personnel are invited to participate in uniform as part of a special pre-game celebration in recognition of the 9/11 National Day of Service and Remembrance.
All firefighters, police officers, EMTs, and military personnel who participate in the pre-game ceremony in uniform, and their families, will receive a special $5 admission to the game. Advance registration and purchase is required with the registration deadline set for this Friday, Sept. 2.
Email BlueHensMarketing@admin.udel.edu to register and provide your name, service affiliation, and preferred contact information to be included.
There will also be a special discounted admission of $10 for all other service personnel and their families who are unable to participate in the pre-game ceremonies.
