Gameday Happenings – Delaware vs. UMass

Traffic & Parking: Season and single game parking lots open 4 hours prior to kickoff. Single game parking is available for $15. Season passes must be displayed at all times and patrons must enter through the Entrance indicated on their parking pass.

Due to expected high traffic volume and area construction, fans are encouraged to arrive early.  Fans traveling from the North are encouraged to travel from Route 273 to Route 4.  Fans traveling from the South are encouraged to take Route 72 to Route 4.  Patrons traveling southbound on 896 (S. College Ave.) will not be able to make a left hand turn into Stadium lots.  In addition, handicap patrons should enter Gate F located on Route 4 as the handicap parking is behind the BCC.

UD Athletic Ticket Office Opens At Delaware Stadium:  1:30 p.m. Saturday, windows located adjacent to Main Entrance on West side of Stadium.

Gates Open At Delaware Stadium:  1:30 p.m. Saturday

Pump It Up Fan Zone: 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Adjacent to Main Entrance on West side of Stadium.
Family friendly fun zone!  Live entertainment provided by Speaker City at 1:30 p.m. on the Delaware Lottery Stage.  The WDSD pre-game show will also be in the Fan Zone and can be found in its new spot adjacent to the Coors Light Coop beginning at 2:30 p.m.  Also, don’t forget there is plenty of interactive skill drills and games, face painting and good times on the inflatable bounce house found here.

  • Pump It Up Fan Zone Partners include: Delaware College Investment Plan, Delaware Express, PNC Bank, Delaware Army National Guard, Studio Green, Planet Fitness, Lazybones, Claymont Steak Shop, and Coke Zero.

The Coors Light Coop: 1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Adjacent to the Pump It Up Fan Zone
Special hospitality area for our guests 21 and over where they are invited to stop by and purchase adult beverages and snacks while catching live college gameday broadcasts. Must be 21 and over for entry and must present valid photo id and paid game ticket. There will be weekly prizes and promotional giveaways, be sure to stop by!

Student Entrance Programming: Studio Green, SCPAB and UD Bookstore Under Armour Sideline Apparel, and Pinnacle Foods sampling.

Guest Relations:  Guest Relations kiosks our located outside of Delaware Stadium on the West and East sides beginning two hours pre-game through kick-off. The main Guest Relations kiosk is located directly inside the West Entrance of Delaware Stadium. Opening two hours prior to kick-off through the conclusion of the game. Lost and found items, the lost parents program and emergency re-entry along with other general fan inquiries are all handled at the main kiosk inside the Stadium.

Giveaway:  1,000 fans in attendance will receive a Delaware Football Dare to be a Blue Hen poster. Collect all FOUR (4) as this is the third of the series! Posters are limited on a first-come, first-served basis and will be distributed at the Guest Relations kiosks on the west and east concourse.

Promotion:  Go Blue or Go Home!  Wear your Delaware Blue to show your school spirit!

Children’s Book Drive: UD Athletics is hosting a children’s book drive prior to the game. We ask that you please join us and bring a new or gently used children’s book to the game this Saturday, 10/15. There will be drop off stations at both the west side main entrance and the east side main gates from 1:30-3:30 p.m. Participants will receive a free ticket voucher to either a future regular season football game, or a men or women’s basketball contest AND a 25% off coupon good for a general reading book at the UD Bookstore, courtesy of Barnes & Noble. Seatback Rentals:  Seatback rentals may be purchased on gameday immediately inside the East and West main entrances. They are $5 per seat and are cash only on gameday.

Delaware Diamonds Society Members:  We are pleased to announce the opening of the new Delaware Diamonds Society Member (DDS) gate located at the Southwest gate of the stadium between the Bob Carpenter Center (BCC) and Delaware Stadium. All entering patrons must show their active BCC Club card as well as a gameday ticket and will incur the same policies and procedures as other stadium gate entrances. Gate attendants will be conducting baggage and ticket checks so please allow for extra time when entering the stadium.

Stadium Policies: As a reminder, items not allowed at Delaware Stadium include alcohol, noisemakers, aluminum cans, coolers/ice chests/thermoses, fireworks, glass bottles, large backpacks/bags, large stadium seats, outside food or drink, projectiles of any sort, umbrellas (ponchos are recommended), weapons.

Patrons are permitted to bring in one unopened bottle of water per guest. In order to ensure the safety of our guests. all bags will be checked as patrons enter the facility. Please plan accordingly as long lines may exist.

Delaware Stadium has a No Re-Entry policy. Patrons experiencing an emergency or who must exit for medical reasons may go to the main Guest Relations kiosk inside the Stadium on the West side for assistance.
