University of Delaware Athletic Fund Blue Hen Club Hosting Football Season Kickoff Tailgate Aug. 30 vs. West Chester

NEWARK, Del. -- The University of Delaware Athletic Fund Blue Hen Club will be kicking off the 2012 football season on Aug. 30 with an exclusive tailgate barbecue for Blue Hen Club members.
The tailgate will take place from 5–7 p.m. under the white tent located in the new Hospitality Village adjacent to the new addition to the Bob Carpenter Center. Kickoff for the 2012 season opener vs. West Chester is set for 7:30 p.m. at Delaware Stadium.
The menu includes grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, pulled pork, sodas, and other tailgate items. A cash bar will also be available. Music and other entertainment will also be provided.
The tailgate is a great way to kickoff the 2012 season and cheer on the Blue Hens as they shoot for another Colonial Athletic Association championship and NCAA Tournament berth.
Registration is open to UDAF Blue Hen Club members only. Tickets are $20 each with discounts based on the following annual giving levels:
$100 - $499 Giving Level: First 2 tickets are $10 each
$500 - $2,499 Giving Level: First 4 tickets are $10 each
$2,500 - $4,999 Giving Level: first 6 tickets are $10 each
$5,000+ Giving Level: First 8 tickets are $10 each
