NEWARK, Del. -- University of Delaware Athletics will welcome fans back for the 2012 season with special discount prices for the Blue Hens Back 2 School Bash football season opener set for this Thursday, Aug. 30 vs. West Chester at Delaware Stadium at 7:30 p.m.
Join the Delaware football team as the Blue Hens go back to school for the season opener Aug. 30 at Delaware Stadium.
Start your night with fun, family-friendly entertainment outside the west main entrance beginning at 5:30 p.m.
Special discounted Blue Hens Back 2 School tickets are on sale now for just $12.13 (a 55 percent savings) in celebration of the 2012-13 academic year. Get your great discounts by visiting the UD Athletics website at www.bluehens.com/fan-zone/Back2School.html and using the promo code summerbash.
Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis with a limit of five tickets per purchase.
The pre-game Blue Hens Fan Zone will be taken over by Radio Disney and include a live stage performance, interactive games and Radio Disney prizes. Be sure to bring your camera as your young Blue Hens fans walk the red carpet Disney style.
A special Back 2 School giveaway for the first 1,000 young Blue Hen fans 12 & under will also take place.
Also be sure to stop by and the join the Blue Hens as they gear up for "Back to School" with Future Hens Club incentives and giveaways for fans 12 & under.
The Coors Light Coop, adjacent to the Fan Zone, will also be open pregame for fans 21 & older to enjoy beverages, food and live NCAA football gameday coverage with fellow Blue Hen fans.
