Blue Hen Golfers Tied For Ninth Place Following First Day of ODU Outer Banks Invitational

POWELLS POINT, N.C. -- The University of Delaware golf team posted a 289 team score and is tied for ninth place out of 18 teams Sunday following the first day of the three-day ODU Outer Banks Collegiate Invitational.
Blue Hen seniors Justin Martinson and Kevin McLister (above) each shot a three under par 69 on the par 72, 6,535-yard Kilmaric Golf Course and are tied for 12th place.
Greg Matthias carded a three over par 75 to tie for 58th place, while Stephen Scialo is tied for 64th place after his four over par round of 76. Bobby Arthur fired a seven over par 79 and is tied for 82nd place.
East Carolina leads the team standings with a 270 score, while ECU’s Harold Varner and Liberty’s Max McCay are tied for the individual lead with a seven under par 65.
The tournament continues Monday before concluding Tuesday.
