2010-11 Season: CAA All-Defensive Team selection • named to Collegeinsider.com Mid-Major Defensive All-America Team • appeared in and started 29 games during the year (missed the final two regular season games with a toe infection) • led the CAA and ranked 12th in Division I with 3.0 blocked shots per game, and had 15 more blocks than any other player in the league • 87 blocked shots are the fourth most in a UD single season • had the three highest single-game block totals in the conference • led the team and ranked ninth in the league with 7.3 rebounds per game • was fourth in the CAA with 5.6 defensive rebounds per contest • ranked third on the Blue Hens with 8.4 points per game • reached double figures in points 11 times and double figures in rebounds five times • had three double-doubles on the season • led Delaware in rebounds during 14 games, and tied for the team lead in five other contests • posted a double-double by scoring 13 points and grabbing a team-high 10 rebounds at Ohio University (11/13) • scored 14 points on 6 of 9 shooting while leading the Blue Hens with seven rebounds and six blocks at Cornell (11/17) • blocked six shots and grabbed 10 rebounds versus Howard (11/19) • scored 12 points, grabbed a team-high nine rebounds, and blocked four shots against Old Dominion (12/4) • grabbed a team-high nine rebounds, scored six points and blocked five shots against Delaware State (12/11) • scored 12 points, pulled down eight rebounds, and blocked seven shots at Villanova (12/18) • scored a season-high 17 points, grabbed seven rebounds and blocked four shots against Penn (12/22) • tied his season-high with 17 points and pulled down a team-best eight rebounds versus American (12/30) • named to Cable Car Classic All-Tournament Team • selected National 5 & 10 Best of the Blue Hens Athlete of the Week on Jan. 3 • recorded a double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds at George Mason (1/3) • scored nine points, grabbed a career-best 17 rebounds, and blocked seven shots versus William & Mary (1/5) • had seven points and a team-leading eight rebounds at Drexel (1/8) • tied for the team lead with seven rebounds and blocked five shots at UNC Wilmington (1/12) • blocked a career-high eight shots and scored seven points, including the game-winning dunk with 21 seconds left, during the win over Northeastern (1/19) • posted 12 points and a team-high nine rebounds against James Madison (1/29) • recorded 12 points and four rebounds at Northeastern (2/15) • posted a double-double with 14 points and 11 rebounds at Rider (2/19) • grabbed a team-leading nine rebounds against Northeastern in the CAA Tournament First Round victory over the Huskies (3/4) • scored 12 points and led the squad with seven boards in the CAA Tournament Quarterfinals against Old Dominion (3/5).

2009-10 Season: Appeared in 30 games while starting 25 as a freshman • ranked third on the team with 5.3 rebounds per game and was fifth with 5.4 points per contest • led the Blue Hens with 30 blocked shots, the most by a UD freshman in school history • ranked 14th in the CAA with 1.0 blocked shots per game and 18th with 5.3 rebounds per game • scored nine points on 4-of-5 shooting from the field and pulled down six rebounds against Bucknell (11/18) • scored eight points and pulled down seven rebounds against Virginia Tech (11/28) • posted first career double-double with season-highs of 18 points and 13 rebounds at Delaware State (12/1) • posted seven points, five rebounds and two blocks against Hampton (12/9) • grabbed eight rebounds and blocked a season-high three shots at Vermont (12/20) • scored nine points, grabbed four rebounds and blocked three shots at VCU (1/9) • posted seven rebounds and six points versus Old Dominion (1/20) • scored 10 points and led the Blue Hens with seven rebounds against Georgia State (1/23) • contributed six points and five boards in the win over UNC Wilmington (2/8) • scored six points and grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds at William & Mary (2/10) • scored 10 points and pulled down a team-high seven rebounds at Drexel (2/13) • grabbed a game-high nine rebounds and scored six points against Hofstra (2/16) • posted second double-double of the season with 11 points and a game-high 11 rebounds versus Boston University (2/20).

High School: Starred at William Fleming High School in Roanoke, Va. • earned first team All-Northwest Region and first team All-Timesland honors as a senior • averaged 13 points and nine rebounds in 2008-09, guiding Fleming to a 25-5 record and the finals of the Virginia Group AAA Tournament • notched 11.1 points and 8.7 rebounds per game as a junior while leading Fleming to the 2007 VHSL Group AA Championship • averaged 12.3 points and 9.2 rebounds per game while shooting 60 percent from the field during his career • eclipsed the 1,000-point plateau • posted 12 points, six rebounds, and three blocks against national prep power Oak Hill Academy as a senior • competed in the prestigious Virginia High School Coaches Association All-Star Game • was teammates on the VHSCA West roster with current teammate Josh Brinkley • played with the AAU Carolina Raptors during the spring of 2009.

Personal: Jamelle ("juh-mel") William Hagins ("hay-ginns" {hard "g") • son of James Hagins and Mary Hankins • has a sister, Jamie, and brothers, Johnathon and Jarrus • has a son, Jahlil • father competed in basketball at Bluefield College • former Fleming teammate Troy Daniels is a junior on the VCU basketball team • black American studies major at Delaware • was a referee for a boys and girls club over the summer, and served as a mentor as a future stars camp.
