High School: Starred at William Fleming High School in Roanoke, Va. • earned first team All-Northwest Region and first team All-Timesland honors as a senior • averaged 13 points and nine rebounds in 2008-09, guiding Fleming to a 25-5 record and the finals of the Virginia Group AAA Tournament • notched 11.1 points and 8.7 rebounds per game as a junior while leading Fleming to the 2007 VHSL Group AA Championship • averaged 12.3 points and 9.2 rebounds per game while shooting 60 percent from the field during his career • eclipsed the 1,000-point plateau • posted 12 points, six rebounds, and three blocks against national prep power Oak Hill Academy as a senior • competed in the prestigious Virginia High School Coaches Association All-Star Game • was teammates on the VHSCA West roster with current teammate Josh Brinkley • played with the AAU Carolina Raptors during the spring of 2009.
