Saddler averaged 22 points and six rebounds in Delaware's two games last week, and went 8 of 11 from three-point range. The honor is the third of the season for Saddler, who was named the league's Co-Rookie of the Week on January 17 and Rookie of the Week last Monday.

Saddler led the Blue Hens with 19 points and connected on 4 of 5 shots from behind the arc during Wednesday's 84-74 double overtime loss to VCU, while adding five rebounds and three assists.

He then posted season-highs of 25 points and seven rebounds during Saturday's narrow 61-58 setback to Hofstra, leading Delaware in scoring for the seventh time in the last eight games. Saddler's 25 points are tied for the fourth most by a UD freshman in a game in school history.

Saddler, who is averaging 18 points during the last eight contests, is scoring a team-high 15.0 points while leading the Blue Hens with 43 assists during CAA games.

He currently ranks 10th in the conference with 3.1 assists per game, 13th with a 1.1 assist/turnover ratio, 14th a 46.5 field goal percentage, and 17th with 12.4 points per game.

Saddler and the Blue Hens take on Northeastern Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Matthews Arena.
