University of Delaware Men’s Basketball Team To Hold Holiday Toy Drive During Home Game vs. Delaware State on December 8

Athlete photoWILMINGTON, Del. -- The University of Delaware men’s basketball team will be teaming up with Alfred I. duPont Hospital again this holiday season to provide toys to children.

Fans are encouraged to donate a NEW, unwrapped non-violent toy for boys and girls ages 4-12 prior to watching the Blue Hen men’s basketball team take on Delaware State on Saturday, December 8 at the Bob Carpenter Center at 2 p.m.

Donations will be accepted in the BCC main lobby when doors open at 12:30 p.m. until the conclusion of halftime. The first 100 participating fans who donate toys will receive a gift card to Dunkin Donuts.

The Nemours/Alfred I. duPont Hospital for Children’s mission is to do whatever it takes to help children grow up healthy and reach their full potential.
