Competed in five meets for the Blue Hens • finished 50th at the Princeton Invitational in 27:37.6 and 26th at the Delaware Invitational in 28:02 • placed 9th at the George Mason Invitational in 27:26 and 43rd at the Blue Hen Classic in 28:21.86 • finished 116th at the IC4A Championships in 27:46 • 2009 Season: Competed in six events, earning his second letter • finished 16th at the CAA Championships in 25:52.17 • finished 39th at the James Madison Open in 26:34.4 • finished 65th at the IC4A Championships in 26:49.4 • finished 27th at the Blue & Gold Invitational in 27:10.1 • finished 25th at the Delaware Invitational in 27:51.34 • finished 144th at the NCAA Regional Finals in 36:02.5 • earned the Team Most Improved Award.

Outdoor Track & Field: 2010 Season: Won the 5,000m event at the Towson Invitational in 15:13.73 • won the 5,000m at the West Chester Open Invitational in 15:29.22 • top time in the 1,500m was 4:14.76 at the Delaware II Open • top time in the 5,000m was 15:13.73 at the Towson Invitational.

High School: Lettered all four years in cross country and track and field at Brandywine High School • captained cross country team senior year • first team All-State selection his senior year when he placed fourth individually at the state championship • owns school 5,000m record and school mile record • honor student.

Personal: Nathan Thomas "Nate" Parmenter • born Dec. 14, 1989 • son of Thomas and Becca Parmenter • cites mother as biggest influence on running career after quitting soccer • political science major with minor in economics • aspires to work as a government official or in the government • worked as a stone mason during the summer.
