At Delaware: Second-year member of the Blue Hens after transferring from Coker College • serving as team captain.

2011-12 Season: Appeared in all 12 tournaments for the Blue Hens • led the squad with a 75.21 average round, the 11th lowest single season total in UD history • posted four top-10 finishes on the season, tied for the most on the squad • placed second at the Navy Fall Classic with a three under par 71-68-139, which earned him CAA Co-Men’s Golfer of the Week honors • tied for sixth place at the George Washington Invitational (75-74-72-221), Villanova Wildcat Invitational (73-76-76-225), and Manor Intercollegiate (73-73-73-219) • was the Blue Hens’ top finisher at the Barnabas Health Intercollegiate and the ODU Outer Banks Invitational.

At Coker College: Appeared in all 10 tournaments during the 2010-11 season, averaging 75.12 shots per round • placed sixth at the Myrtle Beach Intercollegiate after finishing two over par, leading the Cobras to the team title • tied for 16th place at the Conference Carolinas Championship • finished second at the Carolina Sands Intercollegiate with a seven under par score during the two rounds • named to the Conference Carolinas Academic-All Conference Team.

High School: Four-year member of the golf and basketball teams at Coginchaug Regional • four-year all-conference selection in golf • school’s match record holder • named All-State his final two years and All-New England as a junior • was the individual medalist of the conference tournament during his final two seasons, leading Coginchaug Regional to the team title both years • named All-Conference Scholar-Athlete.

Personal: Benjamin Richard Conroy • son of Jay and Liz Conroy • has an older sister, Katherine, and a younger brother, Will • father played lacrosse while mother played basketball at Babson College • finance major at Delaware • aspires to become a professional golfer and investment banker following graduation • has played the piano since the age of five • worked at the Lyman Orchards Golf Club over the summer.
